HOW TO PREPARE AMERICAN-STYLE GRILLED BEEF RIBS

- Beef ribs 1 kg
- Cooking oil 1 tablespoon

- Hoisin sauce 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce 2 tablespoons
- Chili powder 1 teaspoon

- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Salt 2 teaspoons
- Potatoes 500 grams

How to cook American-style Grilled Beef Ribs
1. Prepare the ingredients
- Peel and dice the onion. - Peel the garlic and finely chop it, peel and finely chop the ginger. - Rinse and pat dry the beef ribs. - Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes according to your preference.
2. Make the marinade sauce for the beef ribs
- Heat some oil in a pan, then add the diced onion and stir-fry for about 1 minute over medium heat. Next, add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry together. - Add 5 tablespoons of tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of water, and 1 teaspoon of salt. - Mix well and then add 2 tablespoons of red wine. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes before turning off the heat.
3. Marinate the beef ribs
Place the beef ribs on a silver paper placed on a grilling mold, then apply the marinade sauce onto the ribs. Use your hands, covered with gloves, to rub the sauce onto both sides of the ribs. Then wrap the ribs in the silver paper and marinate them in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
4. Grilled beef ribs and potatoes
- Preheat the oven to 175°C for 10 minutes. Then place the pre-wrapped beef ribs in silver paper in the oven and grill for 90 minutes at 175°C. - Once grilled, open the top layer of silver paper, brush a layer of sauce onto the beef ribs, add a small sprig of rosemary on top of the beef ribs, put them back in the oven, remove the silver paper and grill for a second time at 230°C for 15 minutes. - Place the potatoes on silver paper, add a tablespoon of olive oil, a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of pepper, a small sprig of rosemary and mix well. Then place them in the oven and grill for 15 minutes at 230°C.
